JUSTIN OTTEN

Justin Otten graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law (SCU) in 2014 and passed the California bar exam that same year. During law school Justin focused on civil litigation and business law completing SCU’s International Business Law Program. Justin’s law school career also included two notable externships, the first of which took place at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office where Justin worked on matters involving fair housing, media access, and marijuana legislation. Justin’s second externship took place abroad at the NGO The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) located Phnom Pehn, Cambodia. Justin lived in Southeast Asia for several months while assisting CCHR with such matters as investigating foreign business activities in Cambodia, drafting talking points for a progressive member of Cambodia’s parliament, and reviewing and commenting on proposed legislation.

Prior to joining the team at The Law Offices of George B. Pacheco & Associates, Justin spent several years working for boutique civil litigation and probate firms located in the Los Angeles South Bay. Justin also spent time working as in-house counsel for a Camarillo Based startup where he and another attorney drafted the entirety of the company’s contracts and corporate documents. During these years, Justin cultivated a litigation skillset, developing a niche in the overlap of civil and probate procedure. Currently Justin focuses primarily on civil and probate litigation as well as commonly participating in cases involving corporate, contract, and real property disputes.
