Christie is a paralegal with an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies and Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She became a paralegal to help represent the people who needed a voice (whether that was in Spanish or English). Most would say that her humor is off-beat, but what is in line is her support for the attorney and dedication to ensure that clients are well informed of their case throughout the legal process.
When away from the office, her favorite activities include cooking Korean and American dishes, exercising, so she could tell people that she exercised and spending time with her fiancé, and three pets.
Maria Cardenas is the Billing Specialist for the Law Office as well as our investment company, G&L Properties. With a remarkable 24 years experience in project coordinating and administrative roles, Maria helps manage our billing processes, while embodying our commitment to accuracy and client satisfaction. She has previously worked in real estate companies and held a position for 15 years at a boutique commercial interior design firm. Maria earned her BA from UCLA where she studied Sociology & Policy Studies.
When she isn’t traveling to Rosarito, you can find Maria spending time with her family and spoiling her 2 cats. She loves all things Disney and is an avid fan of live music, a loyal UCLA sports supporter and enjoys going to watch the Dodgers play.
Jennifer P. Villalobos is our Office/G&L business strategist and is a Professor at Claremont Graduate University (CGU). She is also a program evaluator, organizational psychologist, scholar, and researcher with doctoral and master’s degrees in positive organizational psychology and evaluation from CGU and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and history from USC. Her practice and academic interests are deeply rooted in positive organizational interventions, transformative and social justice-oriented evaluation methods, and the advancement of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within organizational settings.
With more than 20 years of experience, her practice engages local, national, and international organizations, spanning multiple industries, emphasizing workplace well-being, social justice, DEI, leadership, and Evaluation Capacity Building.
She has been married to her best friend, Joshua, for nearly 20 years and is a proud mamá to her three children. Her favorite hobbies are cheering on her kids in their extracurricular endeavors, attending sporting and music events, and traveling with her family. As a proud Mexican American, she is passionate about fairness and equity and strives to be a positive model for her children and the Latinx community. ¡Sí, se puede!
Alexa has 20 years of experience in the legal field and has worked on a diverse array of law practice areas. She has worked for both private and governmental entities, which have provided her with a broad perspective of the legal system. Alexa’s areas of practice at the Law Offices of George B. Pacheco and Associates include: Estate & Trust Administrations, Personal Injury, and Criminal. Alexa also is a commissioned Notary Public for the State of California. As a bilingual assistant, she is passionate about helping clients navigate their legal journey in the most enjoyable way possible.
When she is not at the office, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family & pet, reading, music, dancing as well as the outdoors.
Gemma Villalobos is an intern at the Law Office and a senior at Saint Joseph High School where she is first in her class with a 4.8 GPA. She plans to study law in college and further pursue her deep interest in the legal system and upholding justice in everyday life. As an intern, she has gained valuable hands-on experience that has fueled her interest in pursing such a career. She has a background as a professional dancer and trained actor and enjoys spending her free time reading, playing piano, performing in theatre arts and practicing karate!
Noemy has extensive experience working in customer and client service. Throughout her career, she has acquired excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with clients by working at different settings such as retail management, hospitals, and most recently The Law Offices of George B. Pacheco & Associates. As a bilingual member of the Law Office, Noemy is proud to help clients with their inquiries in both Spanish & English.
Outside of her role at the Law Office, Noemy also works as a part-time certified respiratory therapist. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, dancing , traveling and going to the beach.
Kitty Lam is an intern at the Law Office and a fourth-year Philosophy major at UCLA on a pre-law track. Her decision to pursue a career in law stems from a passion for justice and an interest in ethical reasoning. As an intern, she has gained valuable hands-on experience that deepened her understanding of the legal field. During her free time, Kitty enjoys reading, creating art, and going to Disneyland!
Marc has been employed with our office since 2013. He attended high school at Don Bosco Technical Institute, concentrating in computer science. He is an alumni of Whittier College, where he graduated early with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management and a minor in Scientific Computing. Marc completed his Juris Doctor degree at GUCL in May 2017. He was recognized for top honors in Torts and Professional Responsibilities of Attorneys. Marc passed the July 2023 California Bar examination and will be working as associate counsel in personal injury, civil and criminal defense practice once he obtains his license.
Marc lives in the City of Montebello. In his free time, he loves to hit the gym, is an avid mountain biker, and loves to try new restaurants. He is obsessed with his godchildren and can also frequently be found hanging out with friends. Perhaps his biggest passion, however, is the art of movie quoting.
Guillermo joined the firm on November 12, 2020. He brings experience on diverse lines of work. He worked for Bank of America’s credit card, real estate, international item processing, and the cash vault units. He gained a vast knowledge of the banking industry. His previous employment was with FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. FINRA is a government-authorized organization that oversees U.S. broker-dealers following SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) bylaws. At FINRA, Guillermo worked at the Office of Dispute Resolution as a Case Coordinator. It was there where he learned about the legal court system. As a Case Coordinator, he assisted counsel by writing correspondence, process motions, schedule and record meetings, depositions, and hearings, and to publish the case award (judgment).
Guillermo is the Calendar and Records Clerk in our office. He enjoys the family environment that the office offers to its employees. He likes to provide the best customer service possible to our clients and to co-workers. Many clients have expressed their gratitude for his work to him and to the attorneys.
Guillermo has a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Human and Physical Geography. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.97 GPA. He also has minors in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Outside work, Guillermo enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He loves the outdoors, travel, culture, and music. His favorite band is Rüfüs Du Sol. And one other thing that Guillermo loves to do is going to watch his favorite soccer team play at the Banc of California Stadium, the Los Angeles Football Club, LAFC!
